What I collect and why

Email signup (free Slap Bass Starter Pack)

If you sign up for the free pack, I store your email address, the page you signed up on and the date. I use it to give you the download and to email you new lessons and offers now and then. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe or ask me to delete your address at any time by replying to any email or writing to the address above. I don’t sell or share your email.

Server logs

When you open any page, the web server records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and referring page. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited time and then deleted.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) and Jetpack Stats (Automattic Inc.) to count visits and see which pages are read. These services may set cookies and process your IP address in shortened form; data can be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can block them with any tracking blocker or by disabling cookies in your browser.

Embedded YouTube videos

Lesson and review videos are embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.). When you play a video, YouTube receives your IP address and may set cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.

Profile pictures

The author picture is loaded from Gravatar (Automattic Inc.), which receives your IP address when the image loads.

External links

Links to Patreon, YouTube, Instagram, Google Drive and online music shops take you to those services. Their own privacy policies apply there. Some shop links may be affiliate links, see the Affiliate Disclosure.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hosting Ukraine LLC (adm.tools). Domain name resolution runs through Cloudflare, Inc.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your data, to data portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
